La police de Londres a annoncé avoir reçu de «nombreux rapports» faisant état de coups de feu sur Oxford Street, dans le centre de la capitale britannique.

La police indique qu'une personne a subi une «légère blessure" pendant l'évacuation. D'autres informations sur d'éventuelles victimes ne sont pas disponibles dans l'immédiat. Les rapports initiaux faisant état de coups de feu ne se sont pas confirmés pour le moment, souligne la police:

«Nous n'avons détecté aucune trace de suspects ni de tirs», a fait savoir la police via son compte Twitter tout en appelant les personnes se trouvant sur Oxford Street à se réfugier «dans un immeuble».
La police a également indiqué avoir réagi à l'incident «comme s'il était terroriste». La Régie des transports londonienne (TfL) a pour sa part évoqué un «incident voyageur» sans plus de précisions.

Deux stations de métro, celles d'Oxford Circus et de Bond Street, ont été fermées avant de rouvrir un peu plus tard. Pourtant, les boutiques situées un peu plus loin restaient ouvertes et les gens continuaient à faire leurs achats, en ce jour de Black Friday.
